Today we have the official Sidekick LX over-the-air update notes, as well as a new manual to the new Sidekick LX (R4.6). All of the updates that are included in the up and coming OTA are listed bellow.

For all of you who have been waiting for the Sidekick LX to have a video recording feature your wait is almost over. It has been reported that all Sidekick LX phones will start receiving an OTA update starting on June 25th. It will take some time for each phone to receive the update as they send them out in groups. But it will be nice to finally have the missing video recording feature. You can find all of the updates included in the OTA update bellow:

• Playback from the SD card or email attachments using the media player
• Share videos via email, Picture messaging, and Bluetooth
• Listen to songs or videos using a stereo Bluetooth device

• See who is logged into IM from the address book or email and instantly start a conversation

Kim Kardashian has just recently put her new T-Mobile Sidekick LX up for auction on eBay. The phone is apparently one that she never used so she decided to put it up for auction and give a percentage of the sale to charity. The phone is only at $173 right now so its pretty cheap for a new Sidekick LX, plus its signed by Kim Kardashian. So if you are looking for a new phone or are a fan of Kim’s this might be worth checking out.
